Hi,
I’m in Koh Samui at the moment but was thinking about heading over to Koh Lanta in a week or so. I’d love to pop in and help and so was wondering if you could suggest anywhere nearby to stay? I’m on quite a tight budget now, so basic and cheap would be great!

Hello! I too am interested in the volunteer program for 1 month with possible extension. Currently I’m working in Hong Kong but am happy to take some time out to busy myself in more rewarding & fruitful pursuits. I don’t know anybody that loves animals more than I do, quite honestly A bit of background knowledge: I’ve volunteered with the SPCA Worldwide, spend the greater part of my year traveling & combining it with other volunteer experiences (Bio-Organic Farming in Spain & India), I work with Animals Asia, HKDR & HKAlleycats here in HK (Organizing fund-raising events, providing assistance in Marketing & Advertising, & fostering/rehabilitating stray animals). Moreover, I’ve been a vegetarian for 12 years for no other reason than I love animals. I also cater raw vegan & volunteer as a chef at the World Peace Cafe.
All in all, I don’t have any medical skills to bring to the table but I can offer copious amounts of TLC, and will certainly seek to learn other helpful skills, quickly, on the job.

Greetings! I am currently traveling throughout SE Asia and will be making my way to Koh Lanta within the next month or so. I’m very interested in the volunteer program you offer for a month or two; I’d be a general volunteer as I have no formal education/credentials, but I love animals and have experience with rescuing dogs from kill shelters and nursing them back to health. Please let me know if you have any room for volunteers at the moment. Thanks so much!
