After a few days in his new house, Harry unfortunately had a bit of an accident… His owner came back late from a trip to Krabi and Harry being so happy to see him coming back, ran onto the road and got hit by a car.

Poor Harry got his right back leg broken. We took him to the vet, who said that the wounds were too severe to fix and that amputation was the best solution for his case…

But Harry doesn’t go down so easily, so after a major surgery and a couple of weeks of TLC he’s back on his legs and jumping around like a rabbit!!

We have decided not to send him back to his previous home as it is too close from the road and clearly Harry has no notion of the danger of cars, so he’s up for adoption again and next time we’ll make sure that his future home is in the middle of nowhere with no modern vehicles to run under!

Maureen from UK arrived at the center almost 2 weeks ago already. She’s a PE teacher taking some time from her holiday to come and get her hands on everything that needs to be done here. So big thank you to her!

A big thank you to Suwat for giving Harry a nice and loving home. After a difficult start in life (a big wound on his back and a broken leg), he’s finally got the family he deserves!

With 2 playmates and a big jungle/ bushy area to run around, he can at last be the dog he always wanted to be!

Good luck to them both!!
