Helping animals in neighbouring areas

We hold mass sterilisation and vaccination programmes on neighbouring islands and mainland areas, where there is no access to  veterinary care. We also provide first aid to sick and injured animals in those regions.

Mobile sterilisation

Since 2013, German charity WTG has sponsored our mobile sterilisation and rabies vaccination clinics to control the animal population and reduce suffering. Sterilisation is the only humane way to reduce the number of stray cats and dogs doomed to live a life of misery on the streets. Neutering and spaying just one male and one female dog will prevent 67,000 unwanted births in six years,

Without the support of WTG, we simply could not afford to reach the animals in need but, because of their generosity, we sterilise and rabies vaccinate around 2,500 cats and dogs each year.

Ending suffering

In the last two years, we’ve treated more than 150 sick and injured animals during our mobile clinics – providing medical care for TVT cancer, skin diseases, maggot wounds, parasites and broken bones as a result of abuse.

Help us continue this extremely important work by donating. The more support we have the more animals we can help.
